We did an afternoon safari with Nelson who went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience despite the rain and we even saw a leopard.
This was the experience of a lifetime we would highly recommend it.

We booked an afternoon Safari with Nelson in a HUGE truck and were lucky to see all sorts of animals including elephants, mongoose, beautiful birds and monkeys. The weather early May was mainly sunny / cloudy with a few hours of rain most days, usually in the morning. We were lucky to spend time with Jayantha whom showed us many local sites and we saw fruit bats and some very special owls!

Nelson took us on a full day safari and from start to finish we enjoyed every minute. We went out in a classic Land Rover Defender which was really comfortable even over the rough terrain. He was so knowledgeable and clearly loved what he did as he even asked me to send him a photo I took of a young deer feeding on its mother. He showed us lots of species of birds, multiple elephants, Sloth Bear and he was determined to show us a leopard and we were lucky enough to see two in the end! Highly recommend!

We did the Wild Lotus Safari with Nelson as they have their own keep, which was incredible and can thoroughly recommend - we saw both leopard and the sloth bear!

Sudu accompanied us on safari to ensure we has the best experience possible. Which we did, we saw so many animals and the highlight of the day was seeing a Leopard right at the end of the day, thanks to his expertise.

The safari was a complete highlight - Jayantha spotted so many animals (including the elusive sloth bear and sambar deer) and was really helpful and kind. He also provided binoculars and a bird watching book to show us all the animals. The driver did an excellent job navigating even the almost completely swept away roads.
